Achieva’s Voiceprint™ feature allows for faster identification of your account prior to connecting with our Member Service Center. With Voiceprint™, your call is resolved quicker because you will not need to answer any further security questions to pull up your member profile.
Similar to a fingerprint, each person’s voice is unique. Voiceprint™ has proprietary software to measure 140 qualifying points of your speech. This ensures that access is only granted to the correct individual, adding extra security and convenience when contacting customer service.
Voiceprint™ is an authentication technology that uses your voice to verify your identity just by the sound of your voice, allowing fast and secure access to your accounts. When you call us, Voiceprint™ creates a unique digital representation of your voice that allows you to authenticate your identity. Voiceprint™ keeps your personal information and access to your accounts secure, while reducing the need to ask additional authentication questions.
By speaking in a normal conversation with a representative, Voiceprint™ generates a unique “voiceprint” - similar to a fingerprint. Once this unique voiceprint is created, and securely stored, Voiceprint™ matches your voice to your voiceprint to make sure it’s you. This will allow you to safely interact with us, spend less time authenticating, and focus on the reason you called.
We know that you have a lot of passwords and PINs to remember. Voiceprint™ is a more secure and convenient way to access your profile when calling us. Voiceprint’s™ technology makes verifying the identity of members faster and more secure. Enabling the feature will save time on calls by reducing the amount of identification questions a member needs to answer before connecting to our Member Service Center.
There is no action on your part or extra steps you need to take as no extra time is required! Once you are enrolled, by speaking in a normal conversation with a representative, we will generate a unique digital representation of your voice called a “voiceprint”. Once this unique voiceprint is created, Voiceprint™ matches your voice to your voiceprint to make sure it’s you. This will allow you to safely interact with us, spend less time authenticating, and focus on the reason you called.
Recordings are stored securely within Achieva Credit Union’s digital infrastructure. Similar to safeguarding account data, we use the highest protocols to protect our members’ information.
Voiceprint™ is more convenient than traditional methods and effectively protects your identity. A voiceprint is like your fingerprint, it uses over 130 distinct characteristics that are unique to you. These characteristics cannot be easily copied and is a more secure way of confirming your identity when accessing your accounts. Voiceprint™ has several measures in place to ensure that a system quickly flags a recorded playback or a synthetic voice creation. Voice biometric technology is less susceptible to fraud threats that affect more traditional methods of authentication such as PINs and passwords. Voiceprint™ has sophisticated fraud monitoring detection processes and can detect if someone is trying to authenticate using a recording of your voice. We securely store an encrypted copy of your voiceprint that only works with our system.
No, Voiceprint™ is a free perk for members provided by Achieva Credit Union.
Your unique voiceprint enables an authentication experience that is secure and easy to use. Voiceprints are very reliable but if there’s ever a problem with your voiceprint, we can verify you the way we do today, with your existing authentication questions. We can also assess whether we need to delete the voiceprint on file and create a new one, so you’re not inconvenienced again in the future.
Voiceprint™ is a faster security option for speaking with a rep. If you don’t enroll, you’d have to be verified by answering security questions every time you call - even for routine inquiries.
